Will you feed your strengths or weaknesses? It is said there’s a thin line between our strengths and our weaknesses or turn your weaknesses to your strengths or check your strength’s weaknesses.
Both are part of us, it is likened to cancer cells and good cells in our body. Depriving or starving cancer cells according to experts ‘kills’ it, on the other hand, feeding good cells or our immune system can boost good health.
Philippians 4:13 NIV
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Isaiah 40:29 NIV
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Psalm 119:28 NIV
My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.
I define a ‘good person’ as somebody who is fully conscious of their own limitations. They know their strengths, but they also know their ‘shadow’ – they know their weaknesses. In other words, they understand that there is no good without bad. Good and evil are really one, but we have broken them up in our consciousness. We polarize them.
One who is kind is sympathetic and gentle with others. He is considerate of others’ feelings and courteous in his behavior. He has a helpful nature. Kindness pardons others’ weaknesses and faults. Kindness is extended to all – to the aged and the young, to animals, to those low of station as well as the high.
